1. The academic year begins in June

2. Admissions are made strictly on the basis of merit after conducting entrance test and interview of the candidate

3. A candidate who seeks admission has to submit the application form properly filled in.A Copy of the mark list of the present academic year must be submitted along with the application form

4. .At the time of admission the following particulars are to be furnished.

a. Transfer Certificate countersigned by a proper authority
b. Conduct Certificate (for students from class VII onwards)
c. Birth Certificate and Community Certificate
d. Mark record

5. The school authorities have the right to refuse admission without assigning the reasons

6. Application for a Transfer Certificate should be given to the principal in writing. A week’s notice is required and a fee of Rs.100/- should be paid. Those who intend to take T.C. at the end of the academic year will have to apply .. for it before 31st March. After this date they will have to pay a term’s fees. T.C. will be given only to those who have fully settled their dues.

 

 
 

Admission to Plus One

A student who has passed the A1SSE/1CSE/SSLC or an equivalent examination, in English Medium, with marks as prescribed here under is eligible for Admission to Class XI. Admission will strictly depend on the availability of seats as per the merit-list, after personel interview

Group I : 70% marks in English and 80% marks in Mathematics and Science subjects with 75% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Group II : 70% marks in English and 80% marks in Mathematics & Science subjects with 75% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination

Group 111: 70% marks in English and 80% Marks in Mathematics and Science subjects with 75% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Group IV : 70% marks in English and 80% marks in Mathematics with 70% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Following are the Groups offered in Class XI for the session 2006-2007

Group 1 :- English, Physics. Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology

Group 11 :- English, Physics. Chemistry, Mathematics & Computer science

Group III :- English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Computer Science

Group IV :- English, Accountancy, Business Studies. Economics/ Mathematics / Computer Science


Selected candidates must submit Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the previous school and AISSE / SSI,C Marks Statement /Certificate in original at the time of Admission. Students of CARMEL SCHOOL need to submit only their Mark Statement. CBSE students will also have to submit Certificate of School Based Evaluation.

Detention : Students whose overall performance at Monthly Tests,Terminal Examinations and Annual Examination of Class XI is not satisfactory will not be promoted to Class Xll. Students, who do not show satisfactory progress in their academic performance in class XII and whose conduct is not satisfactory, will not be allowed to appear for the Board Examination. A student who fails in class XI for two consecutive years will be issued with Transfer Certificate.
