The New Administrative Building with the following amenities marks the institution exclusively distinct.

Conference Hall : A well-furnished and well-equipped conference hall has emerged in our New Administrative Block. All the latest audiovisual gadgets like LCD projector, DTS sound system etc has been installed for magnanimous presentation on various occasions.


Well Equipped Building : The school building is said to be one of the best in the district with airy classrooms, long corridors,well furnished office,home theatre,science labs & audio visual room with latest upgraded infrastructure . In the basement there is a specially designed computer lab,and a special room for dance & music classes

Staff : Our institution imparts education to all pupils irrespective of caste or creed. By education we do not mean just providing information and technical skills for specific tasks, but the all round development of the youth of today. For this we are equipped with qualified and talented teachers who play a vital role in motivating the students to strain every nerve to scale heights of glory at all levels

Medium of Instruction : English is the medium of instruction, Students are complled to speak only in English within the school premises

Conveyance : The school provides transportation facilities catering to remote areas and various residential locations

Play School : The tiny tots here are provided individual attention, facilities for rest with motherly care and educational and informative toys to enhance mental and physical abilities

 

Home Theatre : In order to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, most modern techniques with LCD projector and audio visual facilities are provided in this institution

Science Lab : The science labs with its most advanced equipment helps the students in enhancing their practical knowledge

Computer Education : Computer education is another special feature of our school. It is included in the syllabus right from First Standard onwards. The school has a well equipped multimedia computer lab with internet access. The computer center is open to the public also. Those who would aspire to be the masters of computer application will be provided with different courses in computer science, either in the morning or in the evening. Vacation classes have been arranged in the months of April and May fore the benefit of students and other local residents.

Library : A very spacious informative & educative library is provided to the children for enjoyment and reference. The library is well equipped with a variety of books on different subjects for the enhancement of knowledge other than their cirriculam.

Play Ground : To develop skills in games, the students are provided with extensive playgrounds for Football, Basketball, Volleball, Cricket , etc., with the required sports equipments .

Co-Curricular Activities : Dance, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Karatte, Yoga, Painting and Arts and Crafts classes are conducted for the benefit of students. The Carmel Dance and Music Academy is open to the public also.

Canteen Facility : A well equipped canteen has edged out in our new block. The advent of the canteen has enthused the students and teachers as they can use it when they dont bring their lunch and for light refreshments. The higyenically maintained canteen is very sensible in catering food stuffs that are of nutritional quality

Bank : The much needed banking facility has taken its venue in the basement of our new block. Has the transactions from the school to various other institutions and much other money related matters are voluminous, the functioning of a bank with the premisis would ease our school's official works.

Money transactions between students and office are strictly prohibited during class hours. No school business will be transacted on holidays or out of the hours.

Library Rules

1. All pupils and members of the staff are members of the library.
2. Pupils are allowed to borrow only one book at time and retain it fora period of one week. If needed, the librarian may call for a book borrowed by any member even before the expiry or the normal period of a week.
3. Reference books cannot be taken out of the library.
4. If the book borrowed is not returned to the Library by the due date, a fine of 50 paise per day will be imposed.
5.Borrowers shall not pass on the books on others.
6.Books borrowed shall be kept neatly No marking, underlining ordamage to the book is allowed.
7.Books, that are lost. damaged or wrongly handled will have to be paid for or replaced. The decision of the Principal in this matter will be final.
8. Library books will be issued from the 15th of June. All books borrowed should be returned to the Library by 20th March every year to facilitate annual stock verification. There will be no issue of books during the summer vacation.
9.Strict silence should be observed in the Library.
